beret (béret) have been the base of hats for centuries and are still worn nowadays by lots of people all over many countries. The best quality ones are bérets Basque and our berets comee for the heart of Basque Pays south west of the country near the Spanish border. Factories are still working the old way with the royalty measurements of years 1700 and before when everything was measured in "pouces","aunes" .... (inches....). Our berets are 10 pouces berets (10 inches diameter)
